Search engines are excellent for traffic oh yes they most certainly are of course. They are excellent for generating life time long customers by every means. The profits that can be made from search engines are just out outrageous, but keep in mind there is other areas of marketing that are very important such as brand establishing. Having a strong brand is something no one can take away I don’t care who it is. If you have a strong enough brand you can pratically charge what you want, or I should say you can over price your prices much better then any one else in the market. The thing is with branding you have to separate your self from other people you have to prove that your product is worth that, or at least get people famaliar with your brand so you can charge them high prices you want and build up that strong loyalty with your customer.

Advertising, Advertising is a pretty good approach if you have the money start investing into ads on other websites generally use your logo of course, and use that same logo over, over, and over again. Get people famaliar with that logo every where they look so they feel connected to it, so therefore when they call you for services they will already feel like there in the right spot.
2. Forum Branding, Yes this is a cheap way of marketing, but is very effective buy as many avatars, or signature links you can from other people and remember promote that same image over, over, and over again.
3. Blogs, You can use blogs to leverage your brand through social networks. Blogs are excellent for building social networks.
4. Build a Forum, Can be very time consuming, but if your wanting a channel for repeat traffic and strong social networks you can use forums to then advertise your services through out the website and get people in the forums and get them hooked.

There is several ways you can build your brand the idea is to get people famaliar with who you, and always keep in mind promote that image that is very strong where people will realize who you are give them something to talk about as long as its good. Every one and awhile create controversy through social networks and then turn it into positive networks it can be tricky at times, but any good marketing should know this type of stuff.

Just keep in mind search engines are excellent, but try to focus on other areas such as branding. Build that name that will give you years of value to come. Build something that people will remember you from, and promote that image over, over, and over again.
